In April 2018, Darron received the opportunity to work for Classic Appreciation. President Greg Swett has been detailing since 1985. His knowledge and experience is known as "the standard" for the International Detailing Association (IDA) to train, certify our skillsets in everything auto detailing.
Many of his techniques he taught me is applied to our "Full Detail" and "Paint Correction" we offer our customers, with our own adjusted processes to suit our customers needs for our area.
In Winter 2019, Darron had a brief tenure in Tampa, Florida with First Class Detailing. This company is on DuPont's Registry Elite Detailers Alliance. His focus on high end vehicles really set our standard to a new level.
Anthony and his crew take auto detailing to the next level, learning how to make paint PERFECT, showcasing a true one-of-a-kind experience that turns up the quality to 11.
He also runs a mobile van route in his area, which is where the structure of our mobile services are derived from. As someone who doesn't settle for less than perfect, Darron regularly stays in contact with Anthony, as we watch both our business grow!
In July, Darron moved back to Michigan for family, and was recommended to Forza Auto Salon as a referral from Anthony at FIrst Class Detailing.
David Fermani (noted above) is truly an exceptional detailer. David's experience in being a private detailer for one of the largest Porsche collections on Earth, brings in many expensive, highly valued automotive collections for others. His 20+ years experience in full restoration of this irreplaceable Porsche collection gives him a premier place is the auto detailing industry. I personally never saw anyone clean the tire tread with a pick tool besides him!
In Setember 2019, Darron received a referral to work for Penske Vehicle Services: Specialty Vehicle Operation. Woking with Fiat Chrysler (currently knows as Stellantis), he was chagred with preparing brand new vehicles for Internationsl Auto Shows (Detroit, Los Angeles, Chicago). This position required wet sanding & polishing thin factory paint (to reduce orange peel) and refinishing vehicles repainted for showase in their debut shows.
Some of the projects Darron was tasked with providing perfect refinishing results included the Jeep Wrangler Mojave, and the 50th Anniversary Challenger Prototypes. In between International Auto Show preperation, Darron detailed & prepped "Press Release" and vehicles used in Fiat Chrysler "Magazine photoshoots", many of them 1 of 1 builds, including the 1st Ram TRX, Fate of the Furious Challenger, and other prototypes for the company.
In January 2020, Darron applied and began his career with Porsche. As a detailer, he provided his talents up to this point on a very busy dealership that serviced Porsches, ranging from the entry level models, to top of the line Taycan Turbo S, 911 GT3RS, GT4RS, and so on. Everything Porsche offered, Darron had his hands on. The ability to experience detailing and driving some of these vehicles is truly an experience I enjoyed.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Darron built his mobile trailer, and provided detailing with M1 Concourse in Pontiac, through connections with his boss at Porsche. This opportunity to expand my business connections beyond the dealership and into all kinds of high end vehicles is one that "There is no substitute".
In October of 2020, Darron returned to Marquette to reopen his business with several large opportunites granted to him here.
